Olaya is an absolute goddess of a woman, instructor, dancer, and mentor! I originally took 4h of privates with her and then literally begged her to find as many more hours she could for more lessons!
I have been dancing bzouk for 4 years and taking consistent classes for about 1 year and she is hands down THE BEST! Not only she immediately identified what I needed to work on but she tailored her explanations and teaching style to my previous dance experience and learning style. She managed to clean all of my basics, intermediate head moves and counter-balances, toalhas, and variations of all of the above, but she also somehow found the time to teach me the most popular lambada moves and how they are used in bzouk!
She explained all variations of bzouk timing and answered all my nerdy questions super clearly, and she also broke down the differences/similarities between bzouk and lambada!
And she went even beyond that! I have been struggling with my mindset as a Bachata artist and dance school owner and she took extra time (beyond the hours of the privates) to just chat about the history of dance and the dance community, as well as her own experiences navigating the dance world as a professional. She also helped me a lot with my own mindset on perfectionism, the anxieties of getting booked and how to deal with the public opinion.

Her knowledge and guidance are invaluable and I would blindly invest all my budget for bzouk lessons in her 10000%!!!

It's a pure pleasure to watch them dance, effortlessly playing with the beat as they swing from flow to staccato, tiempo, contra tiempo, and more. They are both passionate and humble, continually renewing themselves and seeking to evolve. Beyond their humor, breathtaking technique and feeling as dancers, they are incredible teachers. With a keen eye and excellent observational skills, they provide personalized feedback to each student while maintaining a strong group dynamic.You might see them argue occasionally, as both hold strong opinions. However, whenever Papagaio is away, Olaya often mentions him, saying, "Gabriel would have said that..."
You cant but fall in love with them!

Lo mejor de lo mejor en BCN. No solo como profes sino como personas. La caña si quieres bailar lambazouk, zouk o cualquier "brasilada" que te flipe. Vengo desde lejos para sus clases, y en ningun momento me arrepiento de hacer 30km para 1h de sesion. Recomendado al 100%.
