While searching for dance schools in Barcelona, I tried a few different places, but the moment I discovered Dance Stories, something felt profoundly different.

Anita is a truly inspiring woman and an extraordinary teacher. Her relationship with dance goes far beyond performance, and her classes feel like an invitation to reconnect with yourself through movement.

In previous experiences, I often felt discouraged by the pressure to perform, as if technique had to be achieved through tension or self-judgment. At Dance Stories, technique is absolutely present, but it is developed naturally, without pressure. First comes presence, body awareness, and trust. From there, everything else unfolds with much more depth and authenticity.

The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and there is a natural sense of harmony in the space. Without even realizing it, genuine connections begin to form between the students beyond the classes themselves.

I loved the experience so much that I invited my friends to join as well. It has honestly been the most meaningful experience I’ve ever had with a dance school.

My only regret is not having found Dance Stories sooner :)

Anita gave me a very warm welcome and made me feel at ease right from the start. In a short amount of time, I’ve learned so much. Anita creates a safe and supportive environment, where you’re free to be yourself, no matter which level you are. I started out as a complete beginner, where there was always time and patience to explain things to me. I would totally recommend to follow classes here. Thank you so much for all the lessons Anita! I really enjoyed it!!

I highly recommend dance classes with Anita! Especially if you are looking for some creative form of movement and to stretch and strengthen your body. There is a very comfy atmosphere and international environment, so everyone can feel welcome!

Anita ist eine der liebsten und hilfsbereitesten Menschen die ich kennenlernen durfte. Die Tanzstunden waren für mich immer so schön, es hat so viel Spaß gemacht und man hat die Liebe zum Tanzen und zur Bewegung von Anita immer im Raum gespürt. Ich vermisse diese Tanzstunden sehr.
